Shauna + Kyle: Wedding at the Sailing Club

Ever since this beautiful wedding day, my eyes well up when I hear their first dance song, “Beyond” by Leon Bridges. I am so grateful to have gotten to witness Shauna and Kyle’s love for each other and capture it in the images below. A love like theirs is felt by everyone around them, which means this was a wonderfully joyous, energetic celebration. I couldn’t help but notice how at ease Shauna seemed all day. Not a single question brought her way ruffled her feathers, and she seemed to truly understand the meaning of finding presence. If I can offer brides one bit of advice, it’s to practice this mindfulness in the days leading up to your wedding day. It’s easier said than done not to sweat the small stuff, but with a little practice, you can find peace, and truly enjoy the magical day you dreamed up.
